Business and Development Administrator
Music in Common is a non-profit organization that repairs the fractures dividing communities worldwide. Music in Common seeks a hard-working, dedicated Business and Development Administrator to help advance our 16-year old organization into the next phase of growth. This is an entry-level, part-time contractor position with tremendous professional development and growth opportunity. Candidates with experience in and / or knowledge of the development and advancement field as well as book keeping and business management will be given priority consideration. Candidates must reside in or be willing to locate to the metro-Atlanta area.
The MIC Business and Development Administrator works directly with the Music in Common executive director and the Board of Directors, particularly the Board Treasurer and President. The Business and Development Administrator’s job duties fall into three primary categories: financial, administrative, and fundraising development and management. What follows is a comprehensive listing of all job functions the position may include. Upon hiring, the Business and Development Administrator and MIC Executive Director will prioritize these functions to formulate an ongoing work detail.

This is a 10 hour per week independent contractor position and does not provide employee benefits. Starting pay is $15 / hour with review for increase after the first six months.
